So you have done some reading and watched some videos, and the ideas of Law of Attraction are ringing a bell inside of you. You are resonating with the idea of a benevolent Universe who has a constant signal to match your vibration with what it sends to you. You can do that, right? For instance, how hard is it to work with gravity, another Universal law?
Fortunately, we got a lot of feedback as we were growing up about how to work with gravity. We probably didn’t get that much feedback and instruction about how to work with the Law of Attraction. And that makes the learning curve a little bit of a bumpy ride for beginners. Many give up.
Don’t give up – just keep learning, little by little. Many of us have had or currently have jobs where we are not able to stay in the happiest vibration for much of the day. We resort to survival strategies to keep our well-being as intact as possible.
And that means that no matter how happy we are outside of work, or how well we meditate, we are sending mixed signals to the Universe. Now, I’m giving a big YES to being happy as much as possible. But I’m also giving a big YES to upping your consistent vibrational signal.
Here are four techniques that will help you lift your vibration during your work day, so that you can supercharge your Law of Attraction goals, and get on the path to a consistent vibrational signal.
1. Remind yourself. Put an alarm on your phone for the top of every hour. Take the daily statement on which you wish to focus (example: The Universe has my back!) and when your alarm goes off, stop and take a deep breath and look at your daily statement. Buzz. Breathe. Read.
2. Appreciate. As you sit in meetings, walk to the bathroom, stand up for any reason, or roll your eyes at the latest craziness at work, stop and look around your physical environment. Is there anything you can appreciate? Do you have a cool whiteboard or lots of marker colors you like? Can you look out a window and see the ravens having a convention on the grass? Do you have on clothing you like? Did you get a new pen that works great, a swift reply on an important question, can you hear the voice of someone you like? Just find something to appreciate, no matter how small. And then close your eyes and really feel how it feels inside you when you are in appreciation.
3. Have a go-to idea for feeling good. My go-to feel goods are always baby humans, baby puppies and baby kittens. Yes, me and millions of others. So I bookmark places on the Internet where I can find that. If your job has filters, bring a book of images that evoke feelings of joy and happiness and put it in your drawer. Just make sure you have it available. You may be surprised at how much this simple idea can lift your spirits.
4. Post your dream images in your work space. Have you made yourself a vision board in your outside work hours? Do you have a Pinterest page of dreamy houses or other things you’d like to have in your life? Just find the one that is speaking to you most strongly right now and print it out or tear it out of the magazine. Put it up in your work space somewhere. Look at it and let it evoke the feeling that being in that dream brings. For instance, if you have a picture of a dream house, imagine what it feels like to live in that house, to look out the window, to walk out the front door, to turn your car into the driveway. This can take just 30 seconds. Close your eyes and be there.
What happens when you start to lift up your vibration all day at work? You start to send a consistent signal that makes it easy for the Universe to deliver. Our benevolent Universe wants to deliver to you all that you want. Let me know when you are trying these ideas out and how it feels!
Just for fun, I’ve made you guys an infographic that pops out these ideas in graphic form. Grab it here.

When You Feel Better, You Feel Better!
Do you watch the Big Bang Theory? I reliably get so many laughs per episode, that it has become one of my favorites. I can imagine Sheldon saying, “And you're frustrated because she phrased her title in the form of a meaningless tautology?” But enough nerd jokes. Let me explain.
As you find ways to feel better in every waking hour of every day, you will begin to notice something.
You start feeling better even when you are not focusing on feeling better. Suddenly, you will say, “Huh, I’m noticing I feel happy.” And you’ll be in the middle of doing the laundry or some other activity that usually doesn’t evoke happy feelings. Or you will be at work and notice this. Somehow you have had a moment at the Ph.D. level of feeling happy (feeling happy in an environment where most people would say you would not feel happy often).
The important thing to remember at this moment is that YOU created that for yourself. You focused your attention on enough good feelings enough times to move yourself to this place. If you want to feel good, you can. You learned to do it, and you can become more and more expert at it.
You can have a party in your head, in your heart and in your daily life, wherever you are. You are the one that sends out the invitations and plans the games. Just keep appreciating yourself for all your party planning and let the new parties roll on in.
